About Michael Schlossman

The last thing I expected was that my life would become a story of redemption.
My career has taken me from Wall Street to Hollywood, from boardrooms to group rooms, from building businesses to rebuilding my own life.
Along the way I've been a lawyer, entrepreneur, tv & film producer, CEO, public policy advocate, therapist, and politician.
I've founded companies, advised organizations, produced award-winning documentaries for major television networks, and had the profound honor to help many others on their journey.
But those titles aren't what define me.
In 2010, addiction brought me to my knees. I lost my business, my marriage, my financial security, and very nearly my life. Recovery became more than sobriety—it became the beginning of an entirely new life.
Since then, I've devoted my work to helping people find hope where they least expect it. I've led behavioral healthcare organizations, advised policymakers, spoken around the country, and worked alongside leaders committed to transforming lives through ethical recovery and mental health services.
Today my focus is broader.
Through my writing, speaking, and upcoming book, Red Dogs, I explore the intersection of faith, suffering, purpose, leadership, and redemption. I write for people who have achieved success but still feel stuck—for those navigating failure, grief, addiction, disappointment, or the dissatisfaction that quietly whispers, "is this all there is?"
Along the way, I've learned a valuable lesson: the parts of our stories we work hardest to hide often become the very parts God uses to set us free.
For fun, you'll usually find me with my wife Daniela, our Siberian cat, Milo, and our Goldendoodle, Huckleberry, who—along with four other remarkable dogs—became unlikely guides on the journey that changed everything.
